Collaborating again with Squint/Opera and Coda to Coda, Raven AV provided a full design package to complete a Stage 4 RIBA-equivalent tender set. The audiovisual design required both nuance and some creative thinking due to the location and setting, security concerns, loading restrictions and requirements of the creative and architectural direction.

The visitor journey required the technical design of the space to be careful and understated, enhancing the visitor journey when engaged; and being unobtrusive when relegated to the background. Simple user control, reliability, and the ability to autonomously run from a time-of-day setting were all core brief requirements.

The architectural and scenic design of the space was complemented by various format displays, integrated seamlessly behind artefact showcases and seating.

The audio soundscape was reproduced by high quality, discreet loudspeakers mounted above each set of screens on both sides. Invisible to the guests but adding careful audio reproduction where necessary without emitting high levels of noise to the surrounding environment.

Post tender, Raven AV handled sign-off of Proasur’s shop drawings, providing advice and in-depth reviews on behalf of Squint/Opera and iCrave.
