Raven AV provided system design, installation, commissioning, and electroacoustic consultancy for a multichannel EM Acoustics loudspeaker system hidden within the LED structures that are such a striking part of Dubai Airport’s Terminal 3 Arrivals hall. Processed by a TiMax SoundHub, and powered by locally mounted Powersoft Mezzo amplifiers, this system provided a sonic experience to the millions of arrivals for Expo2020. Working closely with both Pixel Artworks and Expo’s content team, we acted as the link between the digital world of the studio, and the physical space of the airport’s manic arrival hall.
